Mandi and Andi's Wedding

Congrat Andy and Mandi! They were married this past weekend in Hidden Springs, Boise. I was a bridesmaid and had a great time! The wedding was beautiful! Mandi was a stunning bride. It was outside at an old barn. The weather totally cooperated and we had 72 degrees! The reception was a blast... I led the Macarana and Cha Cha Slide (Jamie dancing? WEIRD)! Afterwards, completely spur of the moment, Joe and I jumped into the car and droe to Jackpot, Nevada. We met up with some friends and played Craps, Jackpot, and Slots! I was EXHAUSTED! We came back Sunday and had two soccer games that night! The weekend was a BUSY yet full of fun and new beginnings and experiences!
PS- I will post more pictures when we get them of the wedding, but this is all I had on my camera!

Table Rock

If you are ever in the Treasure Valley in the early morning or after dark, you will see a huge cross that is all lit up in the mountains. This cross is know as Table Rock. Just below the foothills is a flat plateau that you can drive up to, hike around, and sit and watch some amazing sunsets. Joe and I made it up to Table Rock the other day just in time for the sunset which is one of my favorite things to see!

I thought this was a cool picture of my car and the back side of the cross
A verse comes to mind when I think about this place and these special moments that I shared with myself and Joe when we were there. It is a verse that my dad has referred to many times and I really never completely and who heartily understood the meaning until now...
"And we know that in all things God works for the good and those who love him, who have been called according to his purpose." --Romans 8:28
This verse touches me because God has really blessed me with this move to Idaho. I came here out on a limb, no job, hardly any money, huge student loans, but God leading my path. Now I have a job that I love, an amazing boyfriend, amazing friends, soccer, and a dream to get my masters in teaching. I do miss my friends and especially my family from back home, but right now I can honestly say I am truly happy with where I am in my life.

Trip to Washington

I AM BACK! I really do suck at this whole blogging thing! But I promise to get better! How is everyone? Idaho is sure turning into fall. The day Joe and I drove back to Washington it was 90 degrees, and last Friday it was snowing in Boise... WHO KNOWS! But I can tell you this, my joints told me the weather was changing!

So we drove home and Joe got a chance to meet the family, hopefully they liked him =)! No they did. Thursday monring I was woken up by my favorite sister's and AVERY! It was such a treat to see her. She is getting SOOO big and her smile, giggle, attempt to step, and give kisses, melted my heart! She kisses her baby brother... so cute. When Joe and her met it was hilarious. She wouldn't let go of me. But he won her over pretty quick and gave her a cute nickname "Goose". We took her to the park and found out I was the world's meanest Aunt because we were swinging away until Joe pointed out that she was shaking like a leaf. Opps. Friday we went to Mom's tennis match, and dad gave us a tour of the most awesome castle in Wash. Friday night we had a BIG family dinner and it was so nice to be with everyone laughing, being loud, and joking around.

It is so nice having my bed here in Idaho. I sleep much better now. Mandi's wedding is this weekend so I will be busy with that. We have two soccer games this weekend too!

I am looking for some good fall date ideas... anyone got any ideas?
