Happy Easter!

Happy Easter! Today was an amazing day for I was so lucky to spend this day with the man that I have fallen head over heels in love with. I am so lucky to be blessed with such a spirited, handsome, caring man. Despite not being with my family, there is no other person I'd rather spend this amazing holiday with than Joe.
We went to church this morning at Ten Mile Community Church (this is where Joe's family attends). It was a great message about finding peace in Jesus and understanding what it meant when He died on the cross and rose from the dead. Pastor John made a statement today that brought peace to Joe and I. He said that the only person that will only bring us peace is Jesus Christ. Yes, government and politics try to bring peace to our world, but Jesus is the only one that posses the ability to bring us calm and tranquility even in the roughest times.
Joe and I went to his parents house where we ate an amazing meal of turkey, ham, rolls, and vegtables... of yeah and Chocolate Cake that my amazing boyfriend made me. I MADE IT THROUGH LENT!!

Happy Easter! Let us never forget the sacrifice that Jesus Christ made for us. He is the true son of man for rising from the dead. Thank you Jesus for dying for my sins so that I can live and shine your light.

Flowers and Easter eggs...

It was an Easter event week! On Wednesday night, I went to dinner with the roommates and then went to an Easter play called No Greater Love. It was a reenactment of the death and Resurrection of Jesus. Although, the one I saw at Life Center a couple years ago was better, it was still nice to see a reminder of what Jesus did for us... simple as that.
Thursday night we had some girls over and dyed Easter eggs. I was shocked with the variety of kits they have now. It used to be plain old Paas... not there is sandblast, glitter, tie-dye, camouflage, 3-D... you name it, we had it!

Not much to say about this one =)
I love this time of the year. The grass is turning green, trees are budding, and daffodils and tulips are popping up everywhere. I love driving around town and seeing random clusters of this happy yellow flowers. They make me smile because they bring the promise of happiness, new life, and warm weather. Joe got me the daffodils and Easter Lilly. I woke up this morning smiling at them... I love spring!

Simple, beautiful, full of life

One more picture (because I am the crazy aunt who can't take enough!)

So I tried to upload this picture with the others, but for some reason it didn't come up. So here is Jackson and Avery together. Not sure how we managed it to get it with brushing teeth, perpetual motion, and poopy diapers, but here are the two cutest and sweetest kids ever!

Wow this has been a busy week at work! And for being the first week back from Spring Break... I am exhausted. But I'd rather be busy at work than not, makes the time go faster.
Being at home last week was so relaxing, I even enjoyed the crummy weather (its nice to be in the rain sometimes). I spent a lot of time at Tiff and Kory's babysitting with mom. Those kids just plainly stated... ROCK! I was going to drive to Spokane to surprise Joe on Friday, but decided I need some more quality time with my older sister! I went over to Tiff's and we spent some amazing time catching up, venting, shopping, playing/chasing the kids (well Avery). I think my favorite part of the break (alone from seeing/spending time with the family) was when I got to Tiffany's Friday morning... Avery, in her sleeper with wild bed head, came running up to me, arms wide open, and a smile. And when I picked her up, she didn't hesitate to kiss me... my heart is officially stolen!
Allison, Paige, and I just signed the papers on on our new house (well the lease). I am SOOOOOO excited to move! We are moving in the first weekend of May into a nice three bedroom town house (Jack and Jill style if you are familiar with that).
This weekend, I am playing some soccer, doing my taxes, working on a paper, and relaxing! By the way, I am still going strong with Lent and haven't had any sweets, ice creams, or chocolate! 10 more days... not that I am counting down or anything ;)
Prayer requests:
1. Denise (the teacher I am an assistant for) and her family... her father-in-law had a massive stroke last week.
2. Papa Jim had a minor heart attack and had a shunt put in. WE LOVE YOU PAPA!
3. Jay (Joe's brother) had a minor surgery done on his hip, pray for healing.
4. Krista is spending her spring break with having her tonsils just removed.
Oh ya... enjoy the kick ass pictures!
